Meet Nicola

Nic is a former music industry exec turned yoga teacher, blending movement, breath, and a deep love of music into everything she does.

With training in yoga, Pilates, functional mobility, and pranayama (breath-work), her classes are thoughtful, grounded, and built around feeling good in your body.

Originally from Scotland, Nic brings a down-to-earth, straight-talking style to her classes with a healthy dose of humour and a seriously strong asana.

She took her first Bikram class 25 years ago and toyed with the idea of becoming a teacher, but life in the music industry and raising a family took centre stage until she found her way back to yoga.

When she’s not teaching locally, Nic runs yoga retreats abroad in places like Marrakesh, Greece & Goa.
She travels regularly to India to deepen her personal practice and to keep learning. For Nic yoga is about more than just movement — it’s a way to support mental clarity, physical strength, and overall wellbeing.

After experiencing a major stroke in 2022 and living with Crohn’s disease, Nic teaches from lived experience. Her focus personally is on daily movement through her own yoga practices, taking time to breathe with intention to calm her nervous system and when time permits, she weightlifts. These elements of her lived own experience come through in her teaching style where she helps people reconnect with their bodies in a real and honest way.
Her teaching is accessible but challenging, focused but playful, strong but soft, and open to everyone of all levels.
